We are delighted to announce that ROC Group has secured the contract to supply over 3,000m2 custom carpet to the prestigious Grand Canal Theatre designed by world renowned architect Daniel Libeskind. The new 2000 seater theatre is situated at the heart of the Grand Canal Harbour Development and is scheduled to open its doors in March 2010.

Installation work began in early June on the interior fit-out of the E120 million Criminal Courts Complex. After a rigorous tendering process, ROC Group were successful in securing the contract to supply over 15,000m2 of carpet tile selected by Architects Henry J Lyons & Partners along with the clients of this highly anticipated development.

Shaw Contract Group are the first carpet manufacturer to be certified on the new BREEAM system, which is an environmental assessment method that can be used to assess the environmental performance of buildings.

Together Shaw Contract's EcoSolution Q yarn and Ecoworx backing system provide the truest form of sustainability. Both yarn and backing are made from post consumer waste and fully recyclable back into carpet.

These Cradle-to-Cradle carpet tile collections give Shaw Contract the first 'A' grade under the revised BRE Scheme, and an impressive score on the new BREEAM system.
